Viglietti Motors books a school desk for Farm School children
Driving Italian cars naturally infuses one with passion – for life, for the joys of life and for the finest things one can experience. Viglietti Motors, the official importers in South Africa of Ferrari and Maserati have made their natural passion work when giving back to those in our country who so deservedly need the opportunity for a better education. Farm school children deserve to have their lives infused with passion – a passion to have the best educational foundation; an opportunity to experience the joys of life.
Driven by their passion to make a meaningful investment to farm school children and their education, Viglietti Motors joined forces with the Gryphon Trust and together created the very exclusive event – Wine, Women and Song.
This exquisite experience was held at Jordan’s Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, hosted by Viglietti Motors and the Gryphon Trust. Dinner was served at Jordan’s Restaurant by George Jardine, one of South Africa’s top chefs regularly featured in Eat Out magazine. Guests enjoyed a meal infused with different textures and tastes while listening to the unplugged sounds of world acclaimed band, Flat Stanley. The evening culminated with an auction of items that included exclusive tickets and paddock tours of the Abu Dhabi Formula 1Grand Prix, a tour of the Garden Route through Knysna in a Ferrari of course, a guitar especially made for the auction and evening emblazoned with the Flat Stanley logo and special seats and a night at the Mount Nelson hotel for the U2 concert. Ariella Kupper of Auction Alliance gently urged guests attending to bid for the items ensuring that the Gryphon Trust added over R200 000 to their trust funds and thus affording the opportunity for another child from the nearby farm school Blue Mountains Primary to attend Chesterhouse School.
